This option works well for Scouts, Clubs, High School Seniors, Families with pools, New Parents and Grandparents and other groups who need the knowledge and skills to save a life, but not the certification card for employment.

Parties include: CPR/AED, Choking Relief and Bleeding Control for all ages.

Parties are about one hour. Price is valid for up to 10 people, 8 years and older in our Midland office.  If more people are expected or an alternative location is desired, an additional fee will apply.  All participants receive informational hand-outs.

Thank you for protecting your staff and colleagues!  Active Violence Emergency Response Training is a course which goes beyond the Run and Hide model to include Situational Awareness and behavioral issues to notice before an event occurs.

If an event happens, the training teaches you to Evade, Distract and Disarm.  Many active violence events end before law enforcement arrives, with devastating results. YOU can empower your staff with the knowledge to act quickly and decisively and end the active violence while providing advanced bleeding control techniques to wounded colleagues.

Active violence costs millions of dollars in liability claims, lost wages, mental health issues, cleanup and restoration.  It also affects your brand reputation indefinitely.

PBCPR AVERT instructors are active Law Enforcement, Military, Martial Arts experts and 911 Paramedics.  We are proud of our team and the credentials they have earned through years of dedication to protecting others.

AVERT is a hybrid course with a mandatory online prerequisite.  The online portion averages 30 minutes to complete.  Classroom is about 4 hours.  Certificates are emailed to the students.  Copies are emailed to administration for HR records.  AVERT is OSHA compliant for a safe workplace.

Class includes signs of impending violence, weapon disarming, bleeding control with direct pressure, wound packing, tourniquets, room defense, evasion and distraction.
We provide personal, hands-on practice with real first aid supplies and simulated weapons that are solid orange plastic for safe practice.  Everyone will leave with the confidence to perform the lifesaving skills.

All training requires video (internet streaming) and hands on skills for the best experience and retention.  During the class, we will watch a portion of a video and then practice the skills shown (at the table or on the floor).

All students are encouraged to participate to their comfort level, physically and mentally.

We provide all AV equipment, but depend on the facility to supply adequate tables and chairs for all participants.  (An additional table for our supplies is appreciated.)  Set up in a classroom or U-shape is preferred, where everyone can see the screen.

Your deposit includes a pre-class consultation and security scan of your facility before scheduling your AVERT class.  We invoice your company after the online courses are issued.  We ask for a minimum of five participants and a maximum of forty participants per class.  We offer flat fee rates of $650 for up to ten participants, $1,300 for 11-20 participants, $1,950 for 21-30 participants and $2,600 for 31-40 participants, tax included.
