Thank you for your interest in saving lives! This American Heart Association BLS Instructor Course is available to qualified personnel only. A background in healthcare is required with knowledge of Basic Life Support skills and science and the ability to perform those skills.
Instructor courses are taught by appointment only.
- After payment, we will email the online component for the Instructor Essentials Course (approximately 3-4 hours to complete).
- During the classroom course, we will monitor your teaching skills and discuss instructor agreement (approximately 2-4 hours).
- You will be aligned with PBCPR.com as your TS. All digital cards are $20 each.
- Instructors must teach at least 2 classes per year, with card purchases, to remain in good standing with access to videos and all equipment.
- Instructor cards are valid for 2 years. Renewal fees are assessed 60 days prior to expiration and vary according to current fees imposed on the TC by AHA and may be waived for good standing instructors.
Many instructors choose to remain with our TS for ease in paperwork and fewer initial expenses.
